We took this amazing train ride through the hills of Ooty on the historic Nilgiri Blue Mountain Railway, a narrow gauge "toy train" that is a World Heritage Site. The train has been running for over 100 years, and was built between 1890-1908. Beautiful, beautiful views all along the train ride.

Seeing this Hindu-Jesus shrine was one of the only pleasant moments of that ride. |
