Prayer wheels, Bylakuppe.  You can see the chortens of the monastery in the distance.

Each prayer wheel contains scrolls of prayers.  Turning the prayer wheels sends the prayers up to the heavens.

Like the people in Ladakh, the Tibetans include spirituality in all facets of life.

In this store in the city of Madikeri, all the deities are displayed - including Pinocchio.

Lisa and I ventured deeper into the Coorg region, taking a bus that wound its way uphill from Kushalnagar to Madikeri.

I met Samish, a lorry driver, while on a walk along the path near Raja's Seat in Madikeri.  When I asked him if I could take his picture, he ran back down to his house and got his kid so she could appear in the photograph.
