From Pushkar, I pushed on to Jodhpur, where I decided to splurge and stay at the Ajit Bhawan Heritage Hotel. This is my luxurious room, with a dressing room to the left, and beautiful marble floors. The Ajit Bhawan Heritage Hotel was the first Heritage Hotel of India and is "the home of Maharajdhiraj Sir Late Ajit Singhi, the younger brother to the erstwhile ruler of Jodhpur," according to their pamphlet.
