29 December 2013, continued:
Checking out a house that does Christmas up in a big way. And it seems we weren't the only visitors....

The Force was with us. It's good to see other people embracing the spirituality that is Yoda Claus.

Adam, Jill and I ate at Peter Lowell's in Sebastapol. I then cruised slowly down Florence Avenue, checking out all the Patrick Amiot sculptures amidst the glowing Christmas lights.

30 December 2013:
A gorgeous Sonoma sunrise as seen from Bella Vigna Winery. This photo is a composite of two photos due to the wide dynamic range of a sunset, so the foreground was shot at f/22 at 1/4 of a second at ISO 200 and the sky shot at the same settings but 1/4 of a second. I then blended the two photos together, an easy process in Photoshop CS4. Basically, it's HDR by hand, "intelligent HDR".

More morning shots at Bella Vigna Winery a little after 7 am.

Lisa managed to get into the car, still weak from sickness. We stopped off at Pea Soup Andersen's. Here, George looks forward to a hot yummy bowl of pea soup.

"Oh, it looks so yummy!!!" George exclaimed. George loves road trips. And what's a road trip in California without Pea Soup Andersen's?

EXTRA:
Here's some more selfies of me at Bella Vigna Winery, showing off the fascinating things that one can find at a winery in Sebastapol.

What is that cat looking at?

Checkin' out the unusual lemon trees at Bella Vigna Winery.

Who knew lemon trees were camera-shy?
