Continuing on, we saw Stevie at the Moog booth. It's always exciting to see Stevie. Max respect.

And...well, someone were to ever hire me to produce his next album, I would lock him in a studio with the greasiest, funkiest guys I could find and say, "Alright, gentlemen...we're just gonna hang out at this house way up in the hills and not leave until we bang out ten funky, booty-shaking numbers on two-inch sixteen track. Let's go!"

This was interesting...it's a modular synth, seemingly with my name on it! :D

The Delptronics Cowbell is a classic analog cowbell sound. The circuit is inspired by the great cowbell sound in the KorgĀ KR-55. Like the KR-55, the TR-808, and most other analog drum machines, we model a cowbell by using two tuned square waves. We also include some pseudo-ring-modulation, as did the KR-55.

Beautiful. Koma Elektronik modular synth. Wrreeeehhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrrzzzzzzzhhhhhhoooooo!

A snare with the Iron Man thingy. Good geeky fun. Well, I guess I could say that about a lot of things here.

Cantaloupe throwing down some righteous analog modeling, yo.

DJ Qbert. Holy crud, this guy is sick, talented beyond description. He was up on the NAMM stage with the Invisible Scratch Pickles and Mixmaster Mike, whom they had run into on the NAMM floor and invited up.

A nice Anaheim sunset.

DJ QBert and the first reunion of the Invisible Scratch Pickles in something like 14 years. Some beat boxing going on here.

Chris and I split, running over to Thuyen Vien, a vegan Vietnamese restaurant nearby on Katella and Euclid. Good stuff, although it's really hard to beat Vinh Loi Tofu. I had eaten decadently, earlier in the day eating caldo birria (a really rich goat soup, bursting with flavor, and topped with cilantro and diced onion and lime...oh yeah) and a thick garlic grilled cheese from Garlicscapes food truck, the first year I remember NAMM having a bunch of food trucks.
