The Huntington Botanical Gardens, Pasadena
Macros, Close-Ups, Pinholes & More

Lisa and I went to the Huntington Library, Arts Collections, and Botanical Gardens.  Actually, I lie...we only went to the Botanical Gardens part.

I brought the Nikon D50 and Leica DLux 4 to experiment with some macros, close-ups, pinholes, and more.

After the Huntington Gardens, we drove down Huntington Drive to eat Brazilian food at A Taste of Brazil in nearby El Sereno. I'm not a huge fan of churrascarias, and we were more interested in finding some of the food that we had fallen in love with in Brazil last summer (see photos of trip). A Taste of Brazil had Feijoada (a Brazilian stew of sausage and black beans cooked in palm oil) and Peixa a Baiana (Bahian fish stew), and they were delicious, so much like Brazil.  I want to go back so badly!!!!
