Cooper Canyon Waterfall near Buckhorn Campground, Angeles National Forest, San
Gabriel Mountains
Back to Buckhorn Page
These
are some extra shots of the Cooper Canyon waterfall near Buckhorn in Angeles Forest,
along the Pacific Crest and Burkhart Trails, and a very special place to me.
Geek stuff: I used a Nikon D90 using a shutter release with 2-3 second exposures with an f-stop of 22 for all the waterfall photos, using a $45 Joby Gorillapod small tripod. |
A larger view of the pond in front of the waterfall. |
And
a front view of the waterfall from the cold rock.
All these photos, and the two back on the main page, were photographed on 8 July 2010 between 7-9am. After that, the sun began rolling in, illuminating the rocks and some of the pool below, reflecting ripples on the rocks to the right. |
