There was a large brushfire that ravaged Sycamore Canyon, near Point Mugu in Ventura County. Lisa had volunteered up here earlier, helping to replant. We returned to this area to enjoy the beautiful weather.

All photos were taken with the little Leica DLux 4 point-and-shoot compact camera.

Good to see some of the wildlife returning to Sycamore Canyon in Point Mugu State Park as well.

Plants returning to life after the fire.

It's amazing how many times I appear in photos with a West Virginia shirt, isn't it?

Looking more or less east toward the hills.

Wildflowers blooming in the meadows.

A Romulan bird of prey will not dampen my enthusiasm of this beautiful wildflower meadow along the Sycamore Canyon loop in Ventura County.
